"As a pianist, Galyna Gusachenko masterfully reveals the Bach-inspired elements in her compositions, while simultaneously pointing toward a vibrant sonic future with her dance-like lightness and freely flowing ornamentation. The vitality of her interpretation shone particularly in Schumann’s beloved 'Arabesque' (Op. 18). The artist clearly delighted in the overt charm of this elegant salon piece, while also conveying its deeper, more contemplative nuances through lyrical, dreamlike pauses."
